수지구에서 수학학원을 운영하고 있습니다. 레이어미디어의 학원나침반을 쓴 지 이제 6개월 정도 됐는데, 그동안 느낀 점을 정리해봅니다.
도입 전엔 출결은 출결 앱, 상담은 수첩, 성적은 엑셀, 이렇게 따로 관리했습니다. 학생 한 명 상황을 파악하려면 이것저것 다 열어봐야 했는데, 학원나침반은 이 세 가지가 한 플랫폼에 다 들어가 있어서 그럴 필요가 없어졌습니다. 사용법을 모르거나 뭘 분석해보고 싶을 때도 메뉴 찾아 헤매는 대신 AI 채팅으로 그냥 물어보면 됩니다.
기록은 초반부터 지금까지 계속 쌓이고 있는데, 확실히 데이터가 쌓일수록 분석이 더 정교해지는 게 체감됩니다. 처음 한두 달보다 지금이 훨씬 정확합니다. 활용할 수 있는 AI 모델이 15개 정도 되는 것도 상황에 따라 골라 쓸 수 있어서 편합니다.
기록 방식도 기존처럼 수동으로 입력해도 되고, AI 채팅으로 말하듯 입력해도 되고, 둘 다 됩니다. 저희는 수업 끝나고 바로 말로 남기는 쪽을 더 많이 씁니다.
가장 체감이 큰 건 이탈위험방지 로직입니다. 결석·지각 증가, 상담 급증, 성적 하락 같은 신호가 겹치면 자동으로 알려줘서, 문제가 커지기 전에 먼저 대응할 수 있게 됐습니다.
학부모 상담도 부담이 줄었습니다. 주간 리포트가 자동으로 나가면서 먼저 궁금해서 전화하시는 일 자체가 줄었고, 통화 상담이 필요할 때도 녹취하고 요약까지 자동으로 해줘서 수기로 정리할 일이 없어졌습니다.
대시보드로 전체 업무 파악이 쉬워지면서 이걸 확인하려고 모이던 회의도 줄었습니다. 강사가 바뀔 때 인수인계 부담도 줄었고, 신규 강사가 업무 파악하는 속도도 빨라졌습니다. 원장 입장에서는 학원 전체 상황 파악이랑 결산 관리가 예전보다 훨씬 수월해졌습니다.
6개월 써본 소감으로는, 여러 관리 프로그램을 따로 쓰다가 하나로 합치고 싶으신 원장님들께 추천할 만합니다.
I run a math academy in Suji-gu. I’ve been using Layer Media’s Academy Compass for about 6 months now, so here’s what I’ve noticed.
Before, attendance was one app, counseling was a notebook, grades were a spreadsheet. Figuring out one student’s full situation meant opening all three. With Academy Compass, all three live on one platform, so that’s no longer necessary. When I’m not sure how to do something or want to analyze something, I just ask the AI chat instead of hunting through menus.
Records have been piling up since I started, and I can genuinely feel the analysis getting sharper as more data accumulates. It’s noticeably more accurate now than it was the first month or two. Having around 15 AI models to choose from is also convenient depending on the situation.
You can log things the old manual way or just say it to the AI chat — both work. We mostly use the chat now, saying things right after class instead of tapping through screens.
The dropout risk detection is what I’ve felt the most. When signals like rising absences, a spike in counseling requests, or falling grades overlap, it flags it automatically, so we can step in before it becomes a bigger problem.
Parent counseling load is lighter too. Weekly reports go out automatically, so parents call in less just to check on things, and when a call is needed, the recording and summary happen automatically instead of me writing it up by hand.
The dashboard makes it easy to see everything at a glance, so the meetings we used to have just to share updates have dropped. Handovers when a teacher changes are lighter, and new teachers get up to speed faster. As the director, keeping track of the whole academy and closing the books is much easier than before.
After 6 months, I’d recommend it to any director juggling several separate management programs who wants to bring them into one.
