알림톡은 문자와 달리 학원 소유의 카카오톡 채널을 통해 나갑니다. 그래서 학원 채널을 학원나침반에 한 번 연동해 두어야 합니다. 이 글은 그 연동 절차입니다.
학원이 준비할 것
딱 두 가지입니다.
- 카카오톡 채널 개설 – 카카오톡 채널 관리자센터에서 학원 채널을 만들고, 비즈니스 인증까지 마쳐 주세요. 비즈니스 인증이 되어 있지 않으면 알림톡을 쓸 수 없습니다.
- 채널 관리자 휴대폰 – 연동 과정에서 인증번호가 이 번호로 갑니다. 채널 관리자로 등록되어 있는 번호여야 합니다.
학원이 알리고 같은 발송사에 따로 가입하실 필요는 없습니다. 발송 계정은 레이어미디어가 운영하고, 학원은 채널만 연결해 주시면 됩니다.
연동 절차
관리 화면의 카카오채널 카드에서 진행합니다.
- 채널 검색용 아이디 입력 – 카카오톡 채널 관리자센터에서 확인하실 수 있는 아이디입니다. 앞에 @ 가 붙는 형태이며, @ 를 빼고 입력하셔도 자동으로 붙습니다.
- 채널 관리자 휴대폰번호 입력
- 인증번호 받기 – 누르시면 그 번호로 인증번호가 카카오톡으로 도착합니다.
- 인증번호 입력 후 연동 – 연동이 완료되면 학원 전용 발신프로필 키가 만들어집니다.
업종 분류는 교육 › 오프라인학원으로 고정되어 있습니다. 따로 고르실 것이 없습니다.
연동이 끝나면
관리 화면에는 연동된 채널 아이디와 발신프로필 키의 앞자리만 표시됩니다. 키 전체는 화면에 노출하지 않습니다.
연동 직후에는 아직 알림톡을 보낼 수 없습니다. 채널마다 알림톡 문안(템플릿)을 등록하고 카카오의 검수를 통과해야 발송이 열립니다. 템플릿 5종은 연동이 끝나면 자동으로 등록되며, 검수에는 영업일 기준 4~5일이 걸립니다.
자주 막히는 지점
- 인증번호가 오지 않습니다 – 입력하신 번호가 그 채널의 관리자로 등록되어 있는지 확인해 주세요. 관리자로 등록되지 않은 번호로는 인증번호가 가지 않습니다.
- 채널 아이디를 모르겠습니다 – 카카오톡 채널 관리자센터의 채널 정보에서 검색용 아이디를 확인하실 수 있습니다. 채널 이름과는 다른 값입니다.
- 비즈니스 인증을 아직 안 했습니다 – 인증을 먼저 마치신 뒤 연동해 주세요.
다음 단계
연동이 끝나면 알림톡 템플릿 검수 단계로 넘어갑니다.
Unlike plain text messages, AlimTalk is sent through your academy own KakaoTalk channel. That channel needs to be linked to AcademyCompass once. This page explains how.
What your academy prepares
Only two things.
- A KakaoTalk channel – Create your academy channel in the KakaoTalk Channel Admin Center and complete business verification. AlimTalk cannot be used without it.
- The channel administrator phone – The verification code is sent to this number during linking, so it must be a number registered as an administrator of that channel.
Your academy does not need to sign up with a messaging provider. Layer Media operates the sending account. You only connect your channel.
Linking steps
Everything happens on the KakaoTalk channel card in your admin screen.
- Enter the channel search ID – You can find it in the KakaoTalk Channel Admin Center. It begins with @, and if you leave the @ off it is added automatically.
- Enter the channel administrator phone number
- Request the verification code – The code arrives at that number via KakaoTalk.
- Enter the code and link – On success, a sender profile key is created for your academy.
The industry category is fixed as Education › Offline Academy. There is nothing to choose.
After linking
The admin screen shows only the linked channel ID and the first few characters of the sender profile key. The full key is never displayed.
You still cannot send AlimTalk immediately after linking. Each channel must register its message templates and pass Kakao review first. The five templates are registered automatically once linking completes, and review takes about four to five business days.
Common sticking points
- The verification code does not arrive – Check that the number you entered is registered as an administrator of that channel. Codes are not sent to non-administrator numbers.
- I cannot find the channel ID – Look under channel information in the KakaoTalk Channel Admin Center. The search ID is different from the channel display name.
- Business verification is not done yet – Complete verification first, then link.
